Changes to Pre-Booked Reservations:Please do not arrive earlier or later than expected. We need to know in advance who is coming or going. We are continuously booking other reservations around yours. We need to have enough room for everyone who is booked for boarding. If you need to switch, you'll need to call Jenny @ 913-963-6856 first.
Cancellations:We require a 48-hour notice of cancellation. If you do not call within this time frame, or are a "NO SHOW", you will be responsible for 50% of your entire pre-booked stay with us.
Vaccination Requirements:- Dogs will need:
- Yearly Da2ppc, Rabies, and Bordatella (Bordatella every six months for Kennel Cough) vaccs. (Optional - Canine Influenza H3N8)
- Cats will need:
- Yearly FVCRP, Rabies vaccs
You may either fax your current records to Jenny (913-851-0212) or bring them with you on your drop-off date. No animals will be accepted without proof of current vaccinations.
Tick/Flea Season: Each year varies, but all animals must be on some type of protection during these months to keep the facility bug free. Because our facility is located in the country, and we hand-walk pets outside daily, we strive to keep on top of this issue. If we notice animals with infestation upon drop-off we will put them on a topical treatment for ticks and fleas at the owner's expense.
Geriatric Boarders: Animals must be healthy enough to board. If you have a pet with a special need, please call and share this with us before boarding.
Aggressive Boarders: If you have a pet that you know is aggressive please tell Jenny when calling to book your reservation. We need to decide what is in the best interest for the pet and our workers.
Medications: Before boarding, please let us know about the types of medications you will bring. We are very capable of handling this chore at no extra charge to you.
Food: We offer free Purina Dog Chow or Cat Chow to our boarders. We do, however, suggest you bring your own food, because many animals will react negatively to the dietary change.
